This interview so warmed my heart when it came out. Spent many days of my youth on Flathead Lake. After all these years I still watch this back & am deeply moved. Thank you!

Loved this, thanks so much for sharing the behind the scenes dreaming and planning. For your interest I've written up an interview I did with Eugene Peterson back when Eat This Book came out. Also a precious memory! https://timjdavy.substack.com/p/my-interview-with-eugene-peterson

Such an incredible moment to reflect on, David! I didn’t know how much work and coordination it takes for a conversation like that to happen! I’m married to the arts minister at Sojourn Midtown in Louisville, KY and we loved meeting Phaedra and getting to hear about her creative work. I really hope to connect with you too someday!

Made my day to discover this. Thanks for making this happen.

“40” is on my playlist (along with other U2 songs) & I listen to it often. It’s become a kind of anthem for my soul.

I remember this was wonderful though frustrating at parts. I wish that Bono had made a distinction about the Christian music of which he was suspicious. It felt like a generalization quite undeserved.

I think a lot of other people felt the same. And I'm sure, given another chance, he might wish to say so as well.

I loved this interview so much, watching it multiple times since it was released! I actually just watched it again on Monday, noticing and learning even more from both men’s reflections. Such a meaningful and deep connection between all of you—I’m so glad you kept dreaming!
